The bishops are respected leading figures in the Church i.webpLast Church's hierarchy. With charisma, faith and fear they uphold the church's important status among the common folk in the world of Worship. They resort to all means available to spread and retain the church's influence. Propaganda, mass manipulation, torture, any other unsavory mean are justified if it serves the god in which they believe. It is ironic how their hold on the masses is so much alike to their unknowing servitude to Salithys Emote.pngSalithys' schemes, except that for the latter, they are on the receiving end.

Gameplay

Bishops are never alone when they roam the world of Worship to rid the land of heretics. When you encounter a bishop, you’ll always find them with a handful of Church Follower i.webpFanatics under their command. This makes them a threat even if they possess a mostly support-oriented set of abilities. If you manage to defeat a bishop without killing their fanatics, the ones that survive can be converted into Follower i.webpcult followers afterwards!

They can directly command their thralls by giving them an order to attack a specific foe. They won't hesitate to prioritize enemies directly attacking them. Fanatics might be small in stature, but they are deadly when ganging up on someone.

The ability to convert cult followers into church fanatics is the signature ability of the bishops. When they start the incantation, get your followers out of there or else there's gonna be an army under the bishop's command and no one left to protect you.

The bishop can also help their allies with a potent AoE healing spell. This makes them a bothersome enemy to leave unchecked, especially when dealing with other threats from the same faction.
